ON THE FRONT, I went with a BEAUTIFULLY DETAILED EMBROIDERY OF EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THE STRAWHAT PIRATES!! Each member is an integral part of the overall story, so it makes sense to include them all; not to mention that they are all smiling big too, to remind you that whatever trials you might face, you can still be left smiling in the end 🥹 Each member is in their own box that is coloured the colour that best represents them - the details from Robin’s eyes to Franky’s hair to Zoro’s earrings to Sanji’s cigarette, every time you look at this piece you’ll notice something new, I couldn’t be happier with how it came out!
ON THE BACK, I went with a JUMBO EMBROIDERY OF THE STRAWHATS LOGO IN ALL BLACK! It only makes sense to put the Strawhat Jolly Roger on the back of the Strawhat hoodie 😮💨 This linework is incredibly crispy, and utilizes a satin stitch technique, meaning when light shines on it, it reflects it beautifully - take a look at the close ups to see what I mean! The embroidery spans the entire upper back and really ties the piece together, and again, the way it shines makes it look amazing!
All of this is on a SPECTACULAR Sun Fade Acid Washed hoodie that you all love! I recently found out that the sun fade technique is actually done COMPLETELY by hand, which makes it more expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion! The fabric colour is a greyish black, and it’s (as always), 100% French Terry cotton at 380gsm (closer to 400gsm after the acid wash)!
